Where to stay

If you’re coming in a group, we rather like the idea of renting a beautiful house in the city so you have everything on your doorstep. Here’s our pick of the bunch:

Bath Boutique Stays

Lots of lovely Georgian properties in central Bath finished to a high standard with Cowshed smellies! Sleep 4 - 20.

Bath Holiday Rentals

4 and 5 star self catering properties in and around Bath. Sleeps 2-20.

The Old Rectory Self-Catering Holiday House

Beautiful house in central Bath - perfect for hen parties, friends & families! Sleeps 8.

Luxury Escapes Bath
Selection of gorgeous luxury houses in Bath. Sleeps 2 - 20.

Laura's Townhouse Apartments

A wide choice of apartments and townhouses in Bath centre. Sleep 2 - 20.

The Merchants House

Very nice central Bath house. Sleeps 14.

There are also some brilliant hotels & B&Bs to stay at:

Abbey Hotel

Lovely, really central and very friendly. No minimum stay so great for 1 night.

Brindleys & Grays

Both beautiful boutique B&Bs just outside Bath centre. A luxurious option for smaller groups!

The Halcyon

Centrally located, elegantly decorated serviced apartments situated above a cocktail bar, so not far to get back to your room if you’re here in Bath for a party!

Brooks Guest House

Very friendly, and very nicely appointed.

Harrington's Hotel

'Situated within a large Georgian townhouse, this hotel has been decorated with a modern, boutique style in mind, offering thirteen unique rooms and an outside hot tub! Book into either one of their gorgeous hotel rooms, or their fabulous self-catering apartments.'

If you’d prefer to stay out of town, we heartily recommend:

The Farm: Glamping

For something a little different, these tents aren’t your usual camping: There’s a heated pool and hot showers! Sleeps 12.

And if you’re on a bit of a budget, we go for:

Bath YHA

A 25 minute walk up the beautiful Bathwick hill out of town, this hostel is clean and comfy, and apparently does excellent breakfasts!

Where to Eat

These are currently our fave eateries in Bath:

Boston Tea Party (Alfred St)

Our absolute fave place for brunch or a lazy lunch. They don't take bookings.

The Porter

Pricey, but delish! A bit of a treat. Private dining available.

Hall & Woodhouse

Tasty gastro-pubby food. A lovely roof terrace in summer.

Sotto Sotto

Fab food, lovely service. Very popular - it books up quick!

Opa

Good hen-party fun! Dinner followed by plate-smashing, then it turns into a club so you can stay on for some dancing.

The Wild Cafe

A great lunchtime option: Lovely food in a relaxed setting. Feels like you’re on holiday.

Drinks & Dancing

The Dark Horse

Love this place! Amazing cocktails. You MUST book though!

Confessional

Centrally located, with lots of nooks and crannies! Remember to pre-book a table.

Motorcity @ Komedia

Club: Probably our favourite hen night recommendation. Music is fun and cheesy, but not too cheesy. It’s big enough not to get too busy! And it's not student-y. Always lots of fun.

The Canary

Bar: A gin bar, and we love gin! They even have ‘Bath Gin’ and plenty of cocktails.

Opa

Bar/Club: Great music, we recommend booking a the private area for hen groups.

Sub 13

Bar: Don’t miss the half price (delish) cocktails between 5pm - 8pm. Gets very busy later on, but you can book a private area.
